I live in the world of grandbabies. My world revolves around my babies. I am so blessed that 3 of the grandbabies (oh ya and their parents too ..lol) live on the opposite end of our house. They give Nana a reason to get out of bed in the morning! My other grandbabies come and visit too, and Nana loves having them visit too! Everyone that said grandbabies are more fun than your own children were right. All this time I thought they were crazy, until I got my first grandbaby. I am still in awe over how much you can love a child that you didn't give birth to. Of course I love my daughters too, but not near as much as my grandbabies! lol Nana loves you Kaylee, Allan, Clayton, Isabel, and Keegan!

3D Baby Onesie and Gift Card Holder

I just became a Creative Team member for Cutting Edge Magazine, and I'm going to try to use my blog more often!  So, if you popped over here from CuttingEdge I'd love for you to become a follower, and leave me feedback on my projects!  If you didn't come here from CuttingEdge you should stop over and subscribe to their Magazine!  It's very reasonably priced and packed full of great information and crafty projects!  This cute little 3D boy gift box was made with the 3D baby onesie file from Paper Piecings by Nikki.  The file comes with a cute little monkey file for on the front.  I decided to change it up a bit and use one of Nikki's bears instead.  If you're having a baby shower these are adorable for game prizes filled with little bags of candy tied with a pretty ribbon.  Guests love them!  The little girl onesie card I also made by altering the file a little bit, and using a little charm for the appearance of a necklace.  You will also notice a small pink binder clip attached to the pink card.  I used this to hold the gift card inside securely.  If you haven't checked out Nikki's new site just click on the top right icon and it will take you to Nikki's new store. Her prices are super low, and her files are super cute!  If you are interested in this file it can be found under bags and boxes in her store.

  1. Barb, great projects! The baby boxes are nice to keep on hand when you need to take a little something special to the hospital. Inside you could put some rattles or a little bear etc. Nice job!
